A COVID-19 and Immigration Update
As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, the health and safety of our clientele will always be our top priority. We understand that the current global conditions may have caused changes and delays in relocation plans for many of our customers. We would like to let you know that we’re here for you during these uncertain times and we stand ready to assist you with your vehicle needs whether you are relocating today or in the future.
We’ve got you covered if your plans change
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions from our clients whose relocation plans may be postponed or cancelled due to the spread of the virus. IAS would like to let you know that we’re committed to providing a simple and stress-free car buying experience which includes protections to safeguard your vehicle purchase if your relocation plans change.
If you are planning to place your order or have already ordered your vehicle with IAS, you’re covered by our relocation assurance, which covers you if your move is postponed. We can change the delivery date of your vehicle at no additional cost or if your relocation is cancelled all deposits are risk-free so you’ll receive your money back, guaranteed.
We do all we can to help ensure the safety and health of our customers. Our program is a single-source solution for any make or model, new or used. From initial shopping through delivery, you can safely manage their entire new car process without the need to visit dealerships and interact with many different people. We provide remote one-on-one assistance to guide you through the vehicle process before, during and after delivery to ensure that you have everything you need.
The flexibility you need – We specialize in serving all types of professional visas
At IAS we’re committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and clients regardless of the circumstances. In late June an Immigration Proclamation was put into place limiting the types of work visas that will be issued through the end of the year. If you had planned on using one of the now restricted visa types there are alternate visa options that may be available for you if your company qualifies.
As an industry expert for over 25 years, IAS specializes in working with all types of professional visas, especially those which have not been restricted by the executive order including E2 visas, O1 visas, TN visas, EB 3 visas, and E31 visas. If you are now going to be relocating on one of these visas IAS is here to help you with the finance, lease or rental of a vehicle for your assignment in the United States.
On August 12th the U.S. Department of State issued an update broadening the exemptions to the immigration proclamation that was put in place by President Trump on June 22nd to restrict the type of work visas issued through the end of 2020. This new guidance provides exceptions for certain types of H, L and J visas whose travel to the U.S. would be of national interest. These applicants who qualify can request a visa application appointment at the closest embassy or consulate to obtain their visa and enter the U.S. while the travel ban is in effect.
Update: On December 31st, President Trump extended the order through March 31, 2021.
We’re here for you during these uncertain times. Our program provides the flexibility you need so you can still start planning your vehicle purchase, however, if you need to make any changes, we can accommodate your needs. If you have any questions or if we can be of any assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us.
